Sorry Dean, No chance for me. No where near race fit.
Mark GeorgeMemberHi Karen,
Thanks again. Yes, you are absolutely right. There should definitely be mention of the “author/runner” regardless of who is posting the content to the site.
I’ll look at updating the existing ones, and make sure they are included in future reports 🙂
Thanks Again.
Mark.
PS, apologies for the late replies, I’ve been on holiday 🙂
Mark GeorgeMemberHi Karen,
I agree we could have an “awards” page where we include winners of historic Kippax Harriers trophies from runner of the year, handicap winners, past club championship placings and could include a “runner of the month” section.
I will try and remember to bring it up at the next committee meeting.
Mark
Mark GeorgeMemberscratch that, looking like odds of drinking too much on Saturday night make running on Sunday morning “doubtful”. Saturday afternoon anyone?
Mark GeorgeMemberI agree, sounds like it would be great in a group. Nice run in the countryside, nice summer evening with a few beers, then do it all again. Just a shame it’s so expensive. (and it’ll probably pish down)
Mark GeorgeMemberI think it will be a bit much for me this year. Been injured and will be doing London on the back of (hopefully) 8 weeks training.
My thinking was that I’d have a much better chance with a night rest in the middle.
I believe Lee Kitching was the one with the LCW in a day idea for June, but he has been diagnosed with a bad hip injury so I doubt it’s a started.
You still doing Race to the Stones in one go?
